Gian Filippo, our gracious host, ensured we felt at home from the moment we arrived. the spacious apartment boasted multiple balconies offering breathtaking mountain views, a perfect spot to unwind with a glass of Sicilian wine. The self-catered unit was equipped with a well-appointed kitchenette, ideal for preparing local delicacies and enjoying meals overlooking the charming city below. the serene garden provided a peaceful retreat, where we savored our morning coffee before exploring the authentic streets of Castelbuono. The proximity to the city center allowed for easy strolls through the picturesque village, immersing ourselves in its genuine Sicilian atmosphere. Despite the summer heat, the apartment remained comfortably cool, thanks to the thoughtful design that maximized natural airflow. Our experience at Villa Failla was truly memorable, offering a blend of relaxation and cultural discovery. the outstanding value for money and Gian Filippo's warm hospitality left us longing for a return visit to this hidden gem in the Sicilian mountains.
